A teacher in Palm Beach County is juggling dual roles.

Tracey Kouf teaches high school students and preschoolers all in the same classroom at Santaluces Community High School.

Tracey is this week's Tools For Teachers winner.

"You cant script what a 3,4,5 year old is going to do so I can have my best intentions and then it's going to go in a completely different direction and you just have to roll with it," said Tracey.

There might be no script in Tracey's classroom in Lantana but that is what makes her love each day.

"Every day is different, everything is fun and I like that my high school students get to see a direct impact of what they are learning," said Tracey.

Tracey teaches high school students how to be preschool teachers— and in her classroom they are able to apply what they learn.

A love for her students and the staff at Santaluces.

"She is making an amazing difference. She is very well respected not only by the students but by her colleagues also," said principal Tameka Robinson.

A role model in and out of the classroom.

We are looking for amazing teachers like Tracey across our area.

They each receive $312 for their school supply budget.
